JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled application administrator to join our Information Management Administration team supporting our Data Management Services.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler in addition to various ETL tools both COTS as well as custom applications. This role will work in a collaborative team environment supporting various teams providing application administration, job scheduling/execution, monitoring, code deployment in addition to troubleshooting any job related issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience working in Information Technology.
  • Proven experience with Enterprise Scheduling tools (Tidal Enterprise Scheduler, Autosys, etc.)
  • Experience with ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter, Talend Big Data Platform, SSIS, etc.)
  • Understanding of database concepts, SQL tools, and data warehousing best practices.
  • Experience installing, configuring (light scripting) and supporting COTS applications on Windows and Linux/Unix OS.
  • Experience with Incident and Change tracking systems (ServiceNow, TFS, Aha!, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, be flexible when needed, take initiative and demonstrate accountability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and system support for the application toolset required to code, test and troubleshoot applications for new development and on-going support. Duties include application administration, job scheduling/execution and code deployment.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation responsible for enterprise job scheduler activities, which often includes assisting various teams with troubleshooting code, network connectivity and data integrity issues.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies and industry standards which includes following documented ITIL processes to complete incidents, requests and other tasks utilizing a service management system.
  • Create and/or update technical documentation of processes, configurations and best practices to support team knowledge sharing and operational continuity as needed.
  • Installation, upgrade and configuration of application toolset.
  • Evaluate current manual tasks that could be automated utilizing scripting tools. Required
