JOB OVERVIEW:

• The ETL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using tools such as Pentaho or Informatica.
• The successful candidate will have experience in cloud environments like AWS and be proficient in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, as well as programming in Python.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with ETL tools, specifically Pentaho or Informatica.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Redshift, PostgreSQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with data modelling and database design principles.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Understanding of data governance and compliance best practices

• Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Utilize Pentaho and Informatica for building and managing ETL workflows.
• Develop data pipelines and workflows in AWS to ensure efficient data processing and storage.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI for effective data visualization and insights.
• Write and optimize Python scripts for data manipulation and transformation tasks. - Monitor ETL processes for performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Document ETL processes, data definitions, and architectural designs.
