ETL DEVELOPER – INFORMATICA & CLOUD MIGRATION:

On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for an ETL Developer – Informatica & Cloud Migration for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

ETL DEVELOPER – INFORMATICA & CLOUD MIGRATION - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This project involves the migration of existing ETL processes from Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica Cloud (IDMC), focusing on enhancing data integration solutions. The ETL Developer will ensure high-quality data delivery and seamless system integration by collaborating with various stakeholders.

ETL DEVELOPER – INFORMATICA & CLOUD MIGRATION - MANDATORY SKILLS:

10+ years as a BI/ETL Developer.
10+ years of experience with SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL optimization.
10+ years with Oracle tools: EXPLAIN PLAN, TKPROF, OEM, RMAN.
5+ years working with Oracle 11g and 19c relational databases.
3+ years of Informatica PowerCenter v10.2 administration.
2+ years of Informatica Cloud (IDMC): PC to IDMC migration, asset management, agent/configuration setup.
Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g/19c configuration, RMAN, user roles, data dumps, and GoldenGate.

ETL DEVELOPER – INFORMATICA & CLOUD MIGRATION – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

Knowledge of Agile, SDLC, and DevOps practices.
Experience with Azure DevOps and version control tools.
Familiarity with Ontario Public Service (OPS) methodologies and enterprise architecture.
Experience with public sector or environmental/inter-jurisdictional data systems.
Understanding of Information Management and data governance principles.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
Migrate Informatica PowerCenter v10.2 ETL code including embedded SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle 11g and 19c).
Test migrated SQL code and PL/SQL stored procedures.
Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.
Conduct root cause analysis and resolve ETL issues, including performance tuning and recovery.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) into data warehouses using star/snowflake schemas.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and access control policies.
