REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience as an ETL Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Ab Initio (GDE, EME, Continuous Flows, Plans, Graphs).
  • Proven experience with AWS data services (Redshift, Glue, S3, EMR, Lambda, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
  • Experience working with large-scale enterprise data warehouses.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with Python or Shell scripting for automation.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices for CI/CD in data pipelines.
  • Experience in Banking/Financial domain projects.
    Job Type: Contract
    Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an ETL Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Ab Initio and AWS-based data solutions. This role requires designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines that power large-scale data platforms. The engineer will collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and application teams to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure data processing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio for data integration and transformation.
  • Build scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data to downstream systems.
  • Work with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, EMR, etc.) for cloud-native data solutions.
  • Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot data flow issues.
  • Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
  • Perform data quality checks, validations, and documentation.
