In this role, you will work with clients and technical teams to deliver customer requirements and be hands-on with all technical elements of implementation for Oracle Data Integration.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled ETL Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data integration pipelines that will populate our Oracle-based customer identity database. The identity data model design is already completed, and the Oracle Database Engineer will implement the schema. This role will focus on sourcing, transforming, and loading the identity data from multiple systems into the Oracle database in a secure, accurate, and efficient manner.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Oracle Data Integrator, SSIS, or equivalent).
  • Solid knowledge of Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL, schema integration).
  • Proven experience building ETL pipelines for enterprise-scale systems.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data mapping, and relational database principles.
  • Experience with data quality, validation, and error-handling frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL development and performance tuning for large datasets.
  • Proficiency with scheduling/orchestration tools (Control-M, Airflow, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience integrating identity-related data sources (e.g., Homegrown technology platforms, Mainframe, LDAP, CRM, ERP).
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security requirements (e.g., GDPR) related to ETL and data handling.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data integration platforms (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, OCI Data Integration).
  • Familiarity with real-time streaming or change data capture (CDC) for identity synchronization #LI-AS1
Responsibilities
  • Data Integration & Pipeline Development

    • Design and build ETL processes to bring data from multiple authoritative sources (HR, CRM, directories, etc.) into Oracle Database.

    • Implement robust data ingestion workflows to support initial load, ongoing synchronization, and incremental updates.
    • Develop transformation logic to align source data with the customer identity data model.
    • Data Quality & Governance

      • Define and implement data validation, cleansing, and enrichment rules.

      • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all integrated systems.
      • Collaborate with data governance teams to apply metadata, lineage, and quality standards.
      • Performance & Optimization

        • Tune ETL jobs and queries for efficiency and scalability.

        • Monitor ETL workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable and timely data delivery.
        • Collaboration & Support

          • Work closely with the Oracle Database Engineer to ensure seamless integration with the implemented schema.

          • Partner with IAM architects and business teams to define requirements for data flows.
          • Document ETL processes, data mappings, and operational procedures.
