Description
Participate in engineering, production, and scheduling meetings, as well as QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) initiatives. Conduct training sessions for production teams. Serve as the key engineering point of contact for production requirements and facilitate effective information flow. Develop task scopes, delegate responsibilities, and ensure appropriate scheduling for timely project delivery. Produce comprehensive mechanical certification packages, technical drawings, and clear work instructions for valve modifications. Monitor and enforce adherence to quality policies and procedures; proactively identify and report potential non-conformances or process improvements to the Quality department. Design innovative solutions to complex mechanical engineering problems, preparing calculations and technical drawings as needed. Prepare thorough, detailed technical reports for customers, and communicate effectively regarding both technical and general requirements. Lead and oversee designated engineering projects, ensuring delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the company's technical knowledge base. Plan, execute, and support internal R&D initiatives. Create and update internal and customer-focused quality and work procedures as required. Travel to client sites to manage or support field engineering activities, such as: Supervising or providing technical assistance for valve repairs and overhauls Flange management tasks and calculations Supporting pressure testing, commissioning, flushing, and preservation activities Conducting inspections, failure investigations, and non-conformance remediation Witnessing factory acceptance testing (FAT) at OEM facilities Assisting with planning and execution of shutdowns/turnarounds, integrating with customer teams as needed Providing database management, quality/inspection documentation, technical drawings, and calculations for site machining Coordinating and tracking site work scopes, serving as a liaison with customer representatives Manage on-site personnel or coordinate activities through the site team lead to ensure the successful execution of project scopes
