DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a EU Operator to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Operations or Planning experience within Supply Chain, Logistics or retail environment.
• Stakeholder experience essential.
• Geographical knowledge Europe -highly desired.
• We are looking for a motivated candidate with proficiency in one or more EU languages, to enhance our ability to serve our carrier base.

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Monitor Tactical transport requirements on daily basis to ensure that there is coverage of all required loads for JLR and that any over-shipping is detected and escalated to our customer.
• Look to challenge carriers where appropriate with any excessive costs, work with stakeholders in various departments to report problems and ensure best practises are met.
• Checking the relevant mailboxes to ensure all mails are dealt with, recorded on the appropriate tracking sheets & filed away.
• Responsible for monitoring of Tactical volumes and booking of associated transport and communicating with stakeholders within DHL to make sure best practise is met for our customer.
• Managing and working alongside circa 20 carriers and up to 500 vendors covering the EU.
