The EU Project Manager - Security Engineer role blends project management expertise with a strong background in information security, focused on overseeing and executing European Union-funded projects related to cybersecurity and data protection. This position will be responsible for ensuring project objectives are met while maintaining a secure and compliant project environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate EU-funded cybersecurity projects, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and timelines. Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and controls specific to each project, ensuring that data protection standards are met. Conduct risk assessments and security audits to evaluate vulnerabilities and mitigate potential threats within project scopes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and international partners to align security initiatives with project goals. Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and project reviews. Facilitate communication among project partners, ensuring timely updates and adherence to project milestones. Lead incident response efforts for any security breaches that may occur during project execution. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Proven experience in project management, particularly with EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe etc.). Strong background in information security principles, technologies, and best practices. Experience conducting risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability assessments. Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders. Fluency in English, both written and verbal; knowledge of additional EU languages is a plus.
