Tate & Lyle Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź is the principal location for handling the business support activities and processes for Tate & Lyle, both transactional as well as value-added business partnering support. Starting operations in 2011 with less than 50 people, we now have over 350 employees supporting operations globally. We have 30 teams operating in Łódź to provide service in the areas of Finance, Customer Service, Procurement, HR/People Services, and IS/IT ROLE PURPOSE Key point of contact between the wider EMEA finance team and the various teams within the GBS. The role will sit within the regional finance structure (outside of core GBS) and drive many reporting needs of the business as outlined below. This role will step from the basic record and report activities of a shared service centre to the “so what” insight and analysis to support the business decision making. Accountabilities: Support month end management reporting for the EMEA region including understanding and interrogating drivers of performance vs budget, forecast and last year. Support FP&A Lead in preparation of internal reporting packs (WD10; OpCo; AOP/FR presentations) for review by the Commercial Finance Director and Regional VP Finance Own forecast modelling, including annual budget/forecast and monthly outlooks, supporting the FP&A Lead with preparing a robust forecast for the total EMEA region Identify opportunities for improvement in forecasting processes / models to drive simplification and efficiency Support consolidation of expanded region, building new reporting and modelling, supporting both Europe and TMEA sub-regions Support the development of value-add standardised reporting across the Regional Sales Teams Support partnering with local and global supply chain to understand cost drivers and incorporate this into modelling and analysis Ad hoc queries on MEC, costing, reports etc. Support Commercial Business Partners with value-add analysis Support modelling of 5 year strategic financial plans Deputise as needed for the FP&A Lead Skills and Experience Required: Essential Comprehensive knowledge of financial modelling, commercial planning and risk management, with full knowledge of methodologies, processes, practices, and atypical issues within Financial Planning & Analysis.
