Job Description The Europe Seeds Transport & Warehousing Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain logistics operations, focusing on transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks across the region. This role ensures operational excellence, cost efficiency with financial control, HSEQ compliance, continuous improvement and sustainable practices while maintaining strong relationships with logistics partners and acting as a key interface with internal stakeholders (Finance, Quality, Customer Planning, Order Management & Logistics Operations). The position combines supplier management, network optimization, financial governance, and strategic coordination at Regional level. Accountabilities 3PL, 4PL and Warehousing Governance Manage relationships with logistics service providers Develop and monitor KPIs for service providers Ensure contract compliance and service level agreements Lead regular performance reviews with partners Coordinate logistics activities between multiple stakeholders Network Design and Footprint Optimization Analyze and optimize distribution network configuration Evaluate facility locations and transportation routes Implement network improvement initiatives Conduct regular network performance assessments Develop contingency plans for network disruptions Capacity Planning and Decisions Forecast storage and transportation requirements Plan and allocate resources based on seasonal demands Optimize warehouse space utilization Manage peak season capacity planning Coordinate with demand planning teams Warehouse Operations and Inventory Control Oversee hub warehouse operations Implement inventory management best practices Monitor stock accuracy and availability Ensure proper material handling procedures Maintain quality control standards Cost Management and Procurement Partnership Develop and manage operational budgets Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives Negotiate rates with service providers Analyze and optimize transportation costs Partner with procurement on strategic sourcing Qualifications Required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field Fluent English language knowledge French and Hungarian language knowledge is a nice to have Strong knowledge of transportation and warehousing operations (road, sea, air) Experience with 3PL / 4PL operating models Financial acumen: invoice validation, cost control, budgeting, tenders Understanding of HSEQ requirements and audit processes SAP or similar ERP systems knowledge Data analysis skills (volumes, rates, performance KPIs) Contract and carrier performance management Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to work cross-functionally and in an international environment Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced operational context Continuous improvement and change management mindset Negotiation and decision-making capabilities Proactive, hands-on, high-level of ownership and accountability Additional Information What We Offer An environment where every voice matters, professional growth is encouraged, and work-life balance is prioritized.
