Key Activities: Forecast and Actual Data Analysis. Prepares financial forecasts and plan/actual analyses for a business/project and prepares them for decision-making Operational Risks and Added-Value Management. Planning and controlling of own added-value levels and operational risks. Monitoring of Revenue recognition, costs allocations, WIPS and accruals; analysis of margins and detection of problems and anomalies. Provides a professional financial service to the business as part of a team working with some autonomy Monitoring Expenses. Develops and maintains controlling tools to monitor expenses. Processes orders of buying, service, rental and leasing deals Assists with the production of a clear financial plan which underpins the Operating Unit strategy Participates in regular business reviews with Heads of Business Lines, delivers explanations for deviations as well as solution recommendations in case expected result being in a risk May provide best-practice advice and recommendations in specialist areas Influences performance by resolving local problems and advising line management in order to influence decisions relating to some or all of revenue, margin, cash flow, investments, productivity, systems, controls or processes Reviews outputs from all internal and external audits and follows up with recommendations for improvements as required. Ensure process controls are fully implemented across area of responsibility Ensures effective communication or basic mitigation of events or proposals that would trigger a negative variance to forecast or budget Has an awareness of risk assessment and contingency allocation and drawdown Is able to advise the business in the setting up of basic Work Breakdown Structures Understands the Business Operating Model and advises the business appropriately on revenue allocation Understands the contract charging schedule Analyses and presents contract finances by contract segment and by service line Influences operational management decision making to protect the company assets Drive and promote continuous improvement culture within the team Satisfy CPD requirements and promote personal development for self and team Skills required: Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, including 3 years in Controlling area Finance / Accounting university degree, CIMA certification as an advantage Strong accounting skills & knowledge of IFRS (especially IAS 17 and 18) Expertise in Microsoft Office, including excellent MS Excel working skills Practical knowledge of one of the ERP systems: SAP FI / CO / SD/ Capability to handle end to end responsibilities Reliability in figures Strong communication skills - written, verbal and presentation Solution oriented thinking and working Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to support collaboration across Finance High awareness of cost, budget and risk considerations Sound sense of pro-activity and taking initiative Ability to work independently Excellent command of business English
