As a European Events Specialist at BD, you will be a key member of the Marketing Services department. You will lead the delivery of international events and projects across Europe, ensuring they are professionally executed, impactful, and aligned with our brand and values. BD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.

• Plan and execute medium to large-scale events across Europe, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers (hotels, venues, AV, catering) to manage all aspects of event logistics
• Lead on-site coordination and provide support during events, including shipping requests and venue setup (may involve light manual handling)
• Guide and support junior event colleagues when necessary, ensuring knowledge-sharing and consistency
• Oversee vendor relationships, including negotiation of contracts, rates, and terms
• Manage online events and webinars, working closely with omnichannel teams to align social media content
• Ensure compliance with internal finance and regulatory processes for all events
• Prepare reports and documentation as required by the Marketing Services Manager
