Claire’s is a global brand at the forefront of fashion and accessories, and our people are at the heart of our success. We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to support our payroll operations in Germany, Belgium, and Eastern Europe.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring payroll data is accurately collected, processed, and validated in line with each country’s payroll cycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering and checking payroll data from Workday before submitting it to our payroll providers.
  • Running validation reports and spotting any errors before payroll is processed.
  • Supporting managers and employees with payroll-related questions in line with our Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Partnering with management teams, offering guidance and training to ensure accurate and timely payroll submissions.
  • Collaborating with payroll providers to quickly resolve any issues.
  • Reviewing payroll reports and payment files to ensure everything is correct.
  • Managing bonus payments, salary reviews, and responding to ad-hoc requests.
  • Keeping our payroll Knowledge Base up to date with country-specific processes.
  • Helping with systems testing, payroll-related projects, and training initiatives.
