The European Spanish Games Linguist position is In-house working on a client specific project expected to last 4 months (February-June), with potential for longer commitment. The role requires working at our Keywords office for the full duration of the project. Our office is located at C. de Julián Camarillo, 6A, 3ºB, San Blas-Canillejas, 28037 Madrid, Spain. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team focusing on in-game content for a leading games publisher! The role involves translating and trans-creating content from English into European Spanish, ensuring high-quality localization that resonates with the target audience. This role requires excellent language skills, creativity, and a strong passion for games. Duties and Responsibilities Translate in-game content from English to European Spanish to a high-quality standard. Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations you are assigned to ensure the best possible quality is achieved. Collaborate with other linguists on the project to maintain consistency and quality across translations. Native level European Spanish speaker. Strong passion for the gaming industry. Educational background in linguistics or a related field. Experience in translation, copywriting, or linguistics. Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills in both European Spanish and English. Good knowledge of PC and MS Office Suite. Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Outstanding attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., Memsource, Phrase, MemoQ) is a plus.
