LOCATION:

Off-site. The 5 first days of the assignment must be onsite (Monday-Friday). The client might request up to 6 days of onsite presence every quarter.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Level 3 – Expert: either a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least 4 years attested by a diploma and relevant professional experience of at least 9 years gained after the award of the diploma OR a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least 3 years attested by a diploma and relevant professional experience of at least 10 years gained after the award of the diploma;
• A minimum of 6 years of experience working as an IT professional in mid/large IT infrastructure environments, including deployment, support and maintenance of applications;
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an IT professional in the area of application administration;
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with micro-services, container orchestration and container-based stacks such as Docker or Kubernetes;
• A minimum of 2 years of experience administering and supporting Elasticsearch;
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with enterprise Microsoft or Linux server solutions;
• Good knowledge of the deployment and administration of Elasticsearch clusters;
• Good knowledge of micro-services, container orchestration and container-based stacks using Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker and Rancher;
• Good knowledge of configuration management concepts and technologies (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chocolatey);
• Good knowledge of shell and/or PowerShell scripting;
• Good knowledge of ITIL, including the incident, change and release management processes;
• Working knowledge of English: B2 or higher.

• Installing, configuring, and administering applications in production and non-production environments;
• Monitoring applications, tuning performance, and continuously improving service efficiency and quality;
• Supporting and maintaining applications, including handling incidents, changes, releases, and problem resolution;
• Writing and validating application procedure manuals, including troubleshooting guides and backup/restore plans;
• Automating administrative procedures for recurring system administration tasks and providing installation and technical support documentation as needed;
• Contributing to structuring, maintaining, and developing the technical knowledgebase that supports ICT Operations activities;
• Reporting on application availability, performance, capacity, and overall usage when required.
