Description

VANRATH are partnering with the UKs most revolutionary Tech focused EV Charging Company that is changing the charging network infrastructure throughout NI. This company is looking to recruit a EV Engineer who wants to progress their career in the EV/Tech industry (highest paying industry).
Office is based in Belfast - Permanent position - Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
  • Produce drawings and design calculations on EV infrastructure and components.
  • Evaluate electrical systems and products via design and applying knowledge of electricity and material specifications.
  • Participate in the selection of electrical components and materials to ensure high quality finish and consistency on projects.
  • Provide technical knowledge of installing EV charge points.
  • Input into the tender process providing technical expertise.
  • Provide expertise in electrical design with particular attention on MV and LV networks.
  • Produce accurate bill of materials for electrical components.
  • Work with the sales / technical support team to assist customers through the technical survey and purchasing journey of an EV charge point.
  • Work closely with equipment suppliers, contractors and DNO’s acting as a technical expert, ensuring feasibility in everything we do.
  • Attend meetings with clients, consultants and industry professionals, advising on how best to meet their needs.
  • Support with problem-solving and troubleshooting of technical issues.
  • Prepare product reports through collecting and analysing information.
  • Assist in the development of electrical training processes for people across the Weev group including customer service and technical support.
  • An ability to explain complex topics and issues in a way that is accessible to a wide range of audiences.
