Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will supervise and oversee small to medium sized electrical contracts. A hands-on approach is required as this role will include installation, testing and commissioning duties.

SPECIFICALLY, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Delivery of small and medium sized projects.
  • Collaborating closely with the Project Engineer to manage labour and materials to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • A good understanding of job-specific method statements and risk assessments.
  • Supervision of sub-contractors’ performance on site.
  • Conducting on-site safety audits to uphold safety standards.
  • Connecting seamlessly with site engineers and other key contacts.
  • Engaging with various sites to assess work quality and attending site meetings as required to truly understand client needs.
  • Proactively reaching out to wholesalers for material quotes, efficiently managing purchase orders.
  • Ensuring projects are completed to a high quality, fully tested and commissioned.
  • Marking up as-built drawings, test records and completion documents as required to enable production of Operation and Maintenance Manual.
  • Undertake site surveys on prospective client sites, obtaining information and detail to enable quotations to be produced.
