Pay & Schedule Pay: $35.00 – $49.00/hour (based on experience)Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every FridaySchedule: Tuesday - Saturday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Why Technicians Choose Amerit ✔ Weekly Pay – Reliable paycheck every Friday✔ Benefits Start Fast – Medical, dental, vision within 30 days✔ 401(k) Match – Plan for your future✔ Paid Time Off – Vacation, holidays, and sick time✔ Boot Allowance & Safety Gear Reimbursement✔ Training Through Amerit University✔ ASE Certification Reimbursement & Bonuses✔ Employee Referral Bonuses (Up to $500)✔ Career Advancement Opportunities Nationwide What You’ll Do Perform service, repair, and maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and integrated systems of electric autonomous vehicles Diagnose nuanced mechanical, electrical, A/C, and autonomous vehicle systems Conduct complex hardware (HW) retrofits and AV hardware replacements Perform software and firmware updates Collaborate with engineering and service teams to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues Create repair orders and accurately document work performed, including diagnosis, procedures, and parts used Participate in fleet-wide hardware and software retrofits Follow safety protocols and maintain a strong focus on quality and precision Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with autonomous vehicle technology What We’re Looking For 4-8 years’ of hands-on experience performing automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs Strong ability to diagnose nuanced mechanical, electrical, A/C, and AV/EV systems Experience with complex hardware retrofits and AV hardware replacement Valid driver's license Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automotive shop equipment (impact guns, lifts, jacks, etc.) Solid computer skills with a strong aptitude for learning new technology and software Excellent communication skills and ability to give/receive clear feedback A learning mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Proven commitment to safety and high-quality work Ability to perform physical work (detailed below) Ability to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen Working Conditions This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces. This position requires regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions. Due to the active work environment and movement of large vehicles, the ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace is required.
