Job Requirements Roles and Responsibilities: Strong Techno-Commercial knowledge in Steel Forgings & Machined components Collaborate with CFT/Suppliers to understand the product requirements and specifications Early involvement with Product and Process Development team for optimized design, process and cost To identify competitive and potential suppliers Familiar in purchasing and legal processes like NDA,RFQ,GPA,SWA,LTA,PR,PO/LOI etc., Thorough Process knowledge in Steel Forging & Machining including Tools, Dies,Fixtures, Gauges etc., Familiar in ZBC, Productivity improvement, VA/VE, YoY Cost Reduction Strong Negotiation skills Familiar in​ Material Grades, Heat Treatment processes, Surface treatments, Automotive standard etc., Familiar in QMS,GD&T,Product and Process Feasibility,DFM/DFA,PPAP etc., Closely work with CFT/Suppliers to ensure on-time development of parts with First Time Right To conduct Run@Rate at supplier end and build adequate capacity with suppliers To manage the Engineering Changes and Cost effectively To implement Continuous Improvements internally & at supplier end Work Experience ● 4+ years of hands-on experience in EV Vendor Development Functions. ● Experience in Automotive industries is mandatory ● Experience in SAP, PLM is mandatory ● Experience in Powertrain and e-mobility solutions is highly preferred
