Employment Type: Temporary until March 2027 FTE:1.0 FTE (40 hours) Work Schedule: Weekday - Dayshift Summary of Position Reporting to the Evaluation Manager, the Evaluation & Measurement Specialist is a key member of the Evaluation team. This position works closely with Program Managers, Liaisons and other staff to support and develop evaluation and quality improvement initiatives related to Calgary Foothills PCN programs and services. The Evaluation & Measurement Specialist must have excellent communication skills to successfully work with the diverse group of staff and the ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities. Key Responsibilities Key aspects of the position may include, but are not limited to:  * Coordinate data collection from various databases, patient records and team members ensuring security and quality of the data * Develop interactive dashboards using business intelligence software including AWS QuickSight to support ongoing monitoring and reporting * Lead the development of evaluation frameworks and plans, ensuring a high quality of evaluation metrics that are reflective of the program or project goals * Review and discuss evaluation findings with managers and senior leadership to inform and support business and program decision making; make recommendations from findings * Provide support for evaluation logistics including, but not limited to, data collection and entry, document control and data quality control * Prepare deliverables that summarize evaluation metrics such as annual reports, quarterly key metrics reports, presentations and project-specific reports * Support collection and reporting of PCN key performance indicators * Present evaluation findings to internal and external collaborators * Conduct qualitative data collection methods, such as interviews or focus groups with PCN staff and/or patients * Complete qualitative and quantitative data analysis * Review, synthesize and critique literature relevant to evaluation and quality improvement projects * Maintain confidentiality and compliance with privacy policies and regulations, specifically the Health Information Act   Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; proficiency with other Microsoft Office Suite applications an asset * Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and project management skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy * Knowledge of databases and business intelligence systems such as QuickSight/AWS, Power BI, Tableau, SQL or similar * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment * Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment * Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data analysis methodologies * Experience in using a variety of research, evaluation and quality improvement methods * Critical thinking skills to apply to evaluation planning, problems and outcomes * Experience with statistical software such as STATA or SPSS and performing statistical analyses * Experience in health care and PCNs an asset * Experience working with electronic medical records and administrative data an asset * Experience with online survey platform design such as Alchemer, SharePoint forms, Qualtrics or similar an asset   Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in health sciences or equivalent * Master’s degree preferred * Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position; a combination of education and experience will be considered   Diversity & Inclusion * Our PCN strongly believes in sustaining an inclusive, respectful and equitable working environment that represents the communities we serve.
