Responsibilities: Understanding various odour notes and Takasago’s olfactive language to work on descriptive creative associations. Develop familiarization of TIS fragrance library and make effective use and proper maintenance. Adapt and identify gaps to improve and enhance our fragrances. Active participation in the Evaluation Sessions (actual projects, fragrance stability in actual product matrix, new product launches, etc) on categories assigned. Good project management working and learning with Senior Evaluator and other team members. - Develop olfactive strategies for assigned projects. - Develop a common communication platform with Perfumers and fellow Evaluators. - Clear articulation on progress of projects and communications. - Deliver work and meet project deadlines. Build creative sensory and evaluation expertise. Acquire learnings and carry out in-house/customers’ evaluation protocols and practice use of internal panel. Market/product familiarity for awareness of the needs, trends and consumer preferences in the Asia Pacific region and beyond and identify interesting fragrances from key product launches for creative interpretations. Participate in the interpretation of consumer test results, understand MR tools and techniques. Work on any assigned tasks as required. Qualifications: Minimum Diploma and above qualification in Perfumery, Chemistry and relevant field. Minimum 3 years of fragrance evaluation across various categories. Stable and consistent growth and development track record in client-facing roles and fragrance development projects. Passion for fragrance and storytelling through scent and sharing. Good knowledge of sensory evaluation. Good knowledge of fragrance chemicals. Independent and responsible team player. Excellent presentation and communication skill.
Responsibilities
The Evaluator is responsible for developing olfactive strategies and managing fragrance projects through sensory evaluation and creative associations. They will collaborate with perfumers to identify gaps in fragrances and analyze market trends in the Asia Pacific region.
