Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Evening (5pm - 10pm) and Weekend Care Professional to join our team in Portsmouth, United Kingdom. As a vital member of our care organization, you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients during evening and weekend hours. Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and medication Provide support for continence care when needed Help with morning and evening routines Perform light housekeeping duties, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing linens Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring food safety guidelines are followed Accompany clients to appointments, social events, or outings Stimulate and encourage clients through various activities and hobbies Assist with medication reminders as directed by the care plan Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients Document and report any changes in client's condition or concerns to the appropriate supervisor Collaborate with other care team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care Qualifications Passion for caring and genuine interest in improving the lives of others Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families Empathetic and patient demeanour, with a friendly and approachable attitude Respect for diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and medical conditions Commitment to non-discriminatory care practices Excellent time management skills and reliability Good personal hygiene and professional appearance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts Enhanced Disclosure clearance (preferred) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred but not required) Previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required) Basic computer skills for documentation purposes CPR and First Aid certification (preferred) Additional Information !#!#!#! We do not hold a sponsorship license so a full and complete right to work in the UK is required. additionally, currently we are only accepting applications with a full UK Drivers license and own transport, non-driver applications will resume to be reviewed later in the year. !#!#!#!
