Description Volante Farms in Needham, MA is a place for all seasons. As a fourth-generation family run farm, farm stand, and garden center it has over one hundred years in the community-- specializing in homegrown and locally grown produce, ornamental and vegetable plants and seasonal decorations. More recently, several new departments were added as part of a large renovation. These include a locally sourced grocery department, butcher shop, seasonal ice cream stand and a still growing food service component including a deli, bakery, coffee shop, and two kitchens preparing food for retail sales; soups, salads, and sandwiches; catering for businesses and family events; pastries and desserts. We are looking for an Evening Coffee/Ice Cream Supervisor to join our growing team! We are looking to hire for this position ASAP. Apply today! Schedule for this role: This role is a year round role. 3-5 days per week Start time is flexible, but this will be the closing supervisor on duty most days Responsibilities Prepare coffee and specialty beverages, scoop ice cream Welcome and interact with customers Cash out customers Assist bakery/kitchen/deli Assist in planning for the day, supervising staff, receiving deliveries Requirements Service oriented with the ability to handle customers needs and questions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Time management skills Cash register knowledge Ability to frequently lift up to 80lbs Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

The supervisor will prepare coffee and ice cream, interact with customers, and handle cash transactions. They will also assist in daily planning, staff supervision, and receiving deliveries.
