Waters Edge Lodge is currently seeking a part-time Medication Aides and/or Med Techs for the PM (2:30pm-11:00pm) shift. Pay Rate- $24.00 per hour The primary functions of a Med Aide/Med Tech are to: * Administer medications * Assist with care giving as needed * Respond to residents' needs promptly * React timely to resident pull cords/alerts We are looking for a part time employee . * Regular part-time schedule is 2-on, 4-off * On-call/PRN also available Minimum qualifications are: * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment * Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents * Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals Employment requirements include: * current COVID19 vaccination * Routine COVID tests * Physical * TB test * Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & Dept. of Justice Waters Edge Lodge is nestled in a unique and peaceful setting on the lagoon of Harbor Bay. Responsibilities
The Medication Aide is responsible for administering medications and providing direct caregiving support to residents. They must also respond promptly to resident needs and react to emergency alerts or pull cords.
