QUALIFICATIONS

Must satisfying one of the following:

  • Holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or is currently enrolled in an accredited Master’s program in the behavioral sciences or a related field

OR

  • At least 4,000 hours (2 years of Full-Time employment) of supervised experience in the delivery of services to persons with mental illness

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Mental Health Practitioner is a member of our Intensive Residential Treatment team focused on providing mental health services to persons residing in our care. By supporting our recipients, you will be helping them manage their illness and restore their skills for everyday independent living.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Have regular contact with all IRTS recipients
  • Provide or assist with recipient intake and treatment planning
  • Support recipients to work toward their treatment plan by: regular one-on-one interventions, group interventions, & responding as needs arise
  • Practicing IDDT, E-IMR and other interventions that support recipient’s work toward recovery
  • Document your interventions in our electronic health record
  • Administer medications
  • Prepare meals for up to 6 persons served (as needed)
  • Complete household chores
