REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous grocery/ receiving experience an asset
  • Positively motivate & lead a team
  • Promote a Safe working environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Efficient and self-motivated
  • Goal and team focused to meet productivity department standards
  • Able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
  • Detail Oriented
  • Knowledge of Handheld ordering is an asset
  • Systems Skills (Email, Word, Excel, SAP an asset)
  • Knowledge & trained on Power operated Pallet Jack
    Available to work evenings and some weekends

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Offer exceptionally friendly and dedicated service to each and every customer
  • Consistently ensure merchandise displays are visually appealing and ‘WOW’ the customer
  • Replenish shelves, assist with relines and execute merchandising and promotional plans/planograms
  • Maintain and provide appropriate signage for displays and shelf labels
  • Receive trucks, check invoices and complete all applicable paperwork
  • Conduct temperature checks on frozen and refrigerated cases as required
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the department
  • Support training and orientation of new staff on an as needed basis
  • Dispose of cardboard, and other related garbage, including operation of the Cardboard baler and garbage compactor
  • Operate a Battery operated pallet Jack; receive trucks and assist with movement of goods from the backroom to the sales floor
  • Follow store safety procedures at all times when operating machinery and abide by department health and safety expectations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs
  • Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards
  • Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering
  • Setup company-directed promotions and programs
  • Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards
