Job description

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience within a transport and logistics background and knowledge of customs entries and transit procedures is required. Salary will be dependent on level of knowledge and experience.
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: £21,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Preparation and completion of customs and security declarations in ENS / ICS, CDS and NCTS
• Be able to read, understand and verify shipping documents for customs purposes
• Be able to data input in an accurate, compliant and timely manner
• Maintaining the highest levels of compliance with current legislation, laws and customs procedures

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Admin duties including transferring documents onto internal document management system, raising jobs and invoicing
• Answering phone and resolving problems
• Timely responses to client emails and requests
