Reporting to the Global Director, Growth Marketing, we’re looking for a proactive, organized Events & Field Marketing Specialist to lead the planning and execution of tradeshows and conferences. This hands-on role requires strong project management skills and the ability to manage tactical details in close collaboration with internal Sales stakeholders. You’ll partner with Sales to plan the annual events calendar, set budgets, and select the right mix of conferences across regions. You’ll lead event execution, manage sponsorships and identify opportunities to expand Aquatic Informatics’ customer reach. For our Italy and UK teams, you’ll facilitate the creation of quarterly marketing plans that include a mix of events, campaigns, and marketing materials. You’ll engage in strategic conversations to understand local goals and priorities, then translate those into actionable plans—resourcing support from the broader marketing team as needed.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in end-to-end event ownership
  • Experience coordinating project logistics, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
  • Self-starter and comfortable working independently, balancing business priorities, and working with some level of ambiguity.
  • Confident in learning how to use new marketing tools (ex: Zuant, Marketo)
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional and international teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills—able to manage multiple timelines with poise
  • Ability to travel to events across North America and Europe
Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

  • Support the success of events (e.g. Trade Shows) and go-to-market event strategy by handling sponsorships, logistics, suppliers, and coordination of personnel for in-person engagements.
  • Be responsible for ‘Events Execution Excellence’ by coordinating end-to-end project management of events and conferences with detailed plans, schedules, requirements checklists, and vendor communication. Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders on event deliverables, messaging and strategy.
  • Track event performance by capturing key metrics and delivering post-event debriefs with insights, learnings, and actionable recommendations.
  • Oversee event budgets, from initial planning and forecasting through reconciliation and reporting.

Field Marketing

  • Collaborate with regional teams in the UK and Italy to co-develop and maintain quarterly marketing plans that align with regional needs, priorities and budget
  • Partner with the broader marketing team to adapt and localize campaign content, tools, and materials for effective regional execution.
  • Track and report on the performance of field events and marketing programs, measuring against key KPIs such as engagement, lead generation, and ROI to inform future strategy
