EVENT ASSISTANT
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Event Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Event Assistant will work closely with the event planning team to ensure the successful coordination and execution of events. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of events, including corporate functions, conferences, trade shows, weddings, and social events.
- Logistics Support: Help with event logistics, including setting up and breaking down venues, coordinating transportation, and managing schedules.
- Attendee Management: Assist with guest registration, check-in processes, and ensure guests have a smooth experience from arrival to departure.
- On-Site Support: Provide hands-on assistance during the event, including managing event signage, supporting event staff, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all details are attended to.
- Administrative Support: Maintain event documentation, handle correspondence, prepare reports, and assist with budgeting and invoicing.
- Post-Event Follow-Up: Help collect feedback, thank-you notes, and assist in post-event evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
