About Us
Flashback Whistler is a luxury photo booth and event services company specializing in weddings, private parties, and corporate activations in Whistler and beyond. We are known for premium equipment, custom photo booth designs, and unforgettable guest experiences.
We are seeking Event Assistants / Photo Booth Attendants to join our growing team. This is a flexible, event-based contractor role—ideal for students, hospitality staff, creatives, or anyone looking for part-time event work in Whistler.
The Role – Event Assistant & Brand Representative

As part of our event team, you will:

  • Assist with setup and takedown of photo booth equipment (some items weigh 10–20 lbs)
  • Act as a photo booth attendant during events—helping guests take photos, use props, and enjoy the experience
  • Represent the brand with professionalism and energy as a brand ambassador
  • Troubleshoot minor tech issues (training provided)
  • Deliver a high-touch, stylish guest experience at weddings, galas, and corporate events

What We’re Looking For

  • Outgoing, professional, and reliable – a people-person who enjoys event environments
  • Physically able to lift and move equipment (10–20 lbs)
  • Available evenings and weekends (most events are scheduled in advance)
  • Comfortable with basic tech (we’ll provide training)
  • Has reliable transportation to venues in and around Whistler

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in events, hospitality, weddings, or customer service
  • Creative background (photography, videography, design, or content creation)
  • Interest in growing into an Event Manager role

Compensation & Perks

  • Base Pay: $25/hour
  • Flat Rate: $100 for standard 4-hour event (setup + 2-hour booth session + takedown)
  • Extra Hours: $25/hour for longer events
  • Referral Incentive: Earn 5% of the invoice for events you refer
  • Insurance Reimbursement: Work 20+ events per year and we’ll cover 50% of your annual liability insurance cost (proof required)

Requirements

  • Liability insurance (minimum $2M coverage) or willingness to obtain
  • Reliable transportation
  • Based in Whistler or nearby
