Jackson Dawson is operating a three-month driving school program in Lake Placid, New York. We are seeking an Outdoor Event Coordinator to join our team for this onsite program, which operates from January to March. The focus is on training both dealership personnel and customers on automotive products. The Outdoor Event Coordinator will oversee guest check-in, organize event logistics, and manage onsite catering. We’re looking for someone who enjoys interacting with customers and is committed to delivering a positive, engaging experience. Work Environment: Outdoor, onsite in Lake Placid Employment Status: W2, project-based Hourly Rate: $20–$21/hr. Responsibilities * Manage check-ins for all guests * Clearing and maintaining walkways, including snow removal as needed * Applying salt to walkways to ensure safe conditions (as permitted) * Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warming hut * Monitoring restroom supplies and cleanliness, replenishing items as needed and coordinating with the restroom service provider for any additional cleanings outside of the regular schedule * Ensure all required documents and forms are complete before the program begins * Communicate registration information to the onsite team * Replenish registration and onsite supplies as needed * Coordinate with onsite team to track daily attendance and accommodate dietary restrictions * Collaborate with shuttle staff to ensure safe and punctual attendee transport * Oversee catering, ensuring counts and dietary needs are met daily * Work closely with shuttle staff for attendee transport  * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications * High school degree, or equivalent * At least one year of experience in hospitality or customer service * Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Google Docs * Valid driver’s license required * Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English * Strong skills in following written instructions * Basic understanding of finance and accounting practices * Clear communicator with colleagues, vendors, clients, and management * Able to accept feedback and guidance from supervisors * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Detail-oriented, accurate, and timely * Energetic, organized, motivated, and service-driven * Able to work independently and solve problems effectively * Positive team player with professional appearance and conduct * Willing to work weekends and evenings as needed Physical Demands and Work Environment This role involves working outdoors in Lake Placid.
