Position Summary:
Assistance is primarily needed for SGI events in September, with particular focus on the SGI Student Spotlight Luncheon on September 19 and the Velo Quebec event on September 30. The assistants will help with all aspects of on-site event logistics, including but not limited to registration table, catering logistics, helping in-person participants, helping with room set up and take down. The assistants will participate in training prior to the event and help the organizing team on event-day logistics. The assistants will also ensure that all aspects of the event will conform to sustainability guidelines as described in the sustainability event certification form.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
McGill student in good standing, preferably with experience in hospitality. Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and follow up on multiple tasks efficiently. Fluent French is an asset.
