JOB TITLE: Event Assistant/Bar Person
REPORTING TO: Food & Beverage Operations Manager
CONTRACT: Casual
HOURS OF WORK: Football Matchday & Non-Matchday Events
LOCATION: Meadow Lane, Nottingham

PAY: NMW up to£12.50per hour

  • Experience working in a hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Bartending experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

The role is to support the Food and Beverage department and provide support to our matchday and event operations here at Notts County Football Club.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve all customers in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner at all times. Ensuring supporters and guests always receive the highest standard of customer service.
  • Assist in the set up and teardown of hospitality areas before and after events.
  • Working as part of a team, you are to be able to advise supporters and guests on all products available within the venue.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages whilst keeping the bar area clean and organised.
  • Oversee specific event areas and ensure staff are fulfilling their duties and addressing/resolving issues that arise during the event. Also providing guidance and support to new members of staff.
  • Maintain stock levels and rotation within work and storage areas in order to avoid waste and assist with stocktaking, whilst also ensuring the work area is adequately stocked with glassware, ice, condiments and other appropriate sundries in line with predetermined stock levels and business need.
  • To serve food and beverages to all supporters and guests efficiently, cleaning down and carrying out all necessary duties as required by your team leader.
  • Keep the area of work and public areas clean and tidy before, during and after opening hours and to undertake cleaning duties as required, paying particular attention to health and safety and COSHH guidelines.
  • Adhere to and follow all licensing policies and procedures.
  • Handle cash, stock and equipment in a secure manner.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
