QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven working experience as a barback with a solid reference track record.
• Excellent knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
• Ability to work cohesively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and ABC training certificates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver high-quality, consistent bar service at a range of event types, from weddings to corporate gatherings.
• Assess guests’ needs and preferences, making recommendations that enhance their event experience.
• Set up and maintain cleanliness of bar areas before, during, and after events, ensuring a tidy and safe environment.
• Check guests’ identification to confirm it meets legal drinking age requirements.
• At peak times, serve beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• Process payment transactions and tip reporting.
• Handle glassware and bar tools with care and professionalism.
• Work closely with event coordinators and catering staff to ensure cohesive service.
