WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re after someone who is:

• Confident in the kitchen – basic food prep skills essential, but full training will be provided.
• Organised and reliable, with good attention to detail.
• Friendly and customer-focused, comfortable dealing with clients during deliveries and events.
• Happy to drive locally – a valid driving licence is essential.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work evenings and weekends depending on event schedules.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driving licence (access to a vehicle preferred and confident to vans)
• Food hygiene certificate – desirable, but can be provided.
• Previous experience in catering, events or hospitality is a bonus, but not essential if you’re willing to learn.

WE’RE HIRING: CATERING ASSISTANT & EVENT CHEF (PERMANENT ROLE – STIRLING AREA)

This hire is to work in our catering company “Tatties and Tipples Event Catering” based from our restaurant in Stirling for now.
Tatties and Tipples – a growing, friendly and creative catering business based in Stirling – is on the lookout for a hands-on, enthusiastic new team member to join us on a permanent contract.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a varied and rewarding role perfect for someone who enjoys preparing delicious food and being part of fun, fast-paced events. The role will involve cooking various styles of food in varied locations and no day is ever the same.
Our catering team cater in locations throughout Stirlingshire, Clackmannanshire and Perthshire. From village halls, private homes, self catering accommodation and the odd castle or two.

You’ll work closely with our team to:

• Prepare our popular grazing boards, platters, buffets, and corporate lunches for delivery and collection in Stirling.
• Delivering catering orders locally with care and professionalism.
• Assist in food preparation for our exciting range of events – from weddings and BBQs to pizza parties and private dining.
• Attend and help run events, setting up, cooking, and serving food on location in a customer facing environment.
• During quieter periods (if there is any) or non-event days, you’ll work alongside our restaurant kitchen team, supporting prep and service as needed.
