Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled leader with some Catering experience to join our team. As a Caterer, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals at various events and functions. Your attention to detail, culinary expertise, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our catering services.
Duties:
-Learn the business fast and help lead the team, eventually moving into executing events without the event chef present
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for events, including canapes, entrees, and desserts
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with food safety standards
- Set up and decorate food displays
- Monitor food inventory and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Assist with cleaning up after events, including dishwashing and equipment sanitization
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry or as a caterer
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and food safety regulations
- Strong culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members

Pay: $17.40-$22.00 per hour
