Description
We are a Bay Area–based nonprofit organization seeking a passionate and people-oriented individual who is motivated to contribute to meaningful, positive change. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building authentic relationships, engaging in conscious communication, and promoting programs that support personal growth, social impact, and collective well-being. Key Responsibilities Promote and support the work of Lori Grace and fellow educators, including Watsu practitioner Paul Rich, legal scholar Danny Sheehan, educator Sara Nelson, Sufi teacher Gayan, health researcher Rob Mayfield, environmental advocate Michael Bailey, and others. Assist in raising awareness and funds for mission-driven organizations such as KQED, the Christopher Street Project, SmartElections.us, Audit USA, WorldOpt.org, and similar initiatives aligned with positive change. Engage in outreach efforts that foster meaningful connections and encourage participation in programs and events. Co-host workshops, events, and programs alongside Lori Grace and other teachers. Provide thoughtful feedback on programs after participating in them. Promote events hosted at locations such as Hale Akua Garden Farm in Maui and other partner venues. Program Areas You’ll Support: Embodied Compassionate Communication Tantra and Sexual/Sensual Energetics Brain health and peptide education (co-taught with Rob Mayfield) Empathic lobbying and empathic canvassing (skills for political and social change) 25 hours per week, primarily in the Corte Madera office Familiarity with marketing, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and telephone sales Willingness to help host programs for free alongside Lori Grace or Scott Catamas Excitement about our programs and willingness to experience them at least once for free Ability to give respectful feedback on programs Enjoys connecting with people and building genuine relationships Strong interest in personal growth, healing practices, and social impact Comfortable discussing transformational topics and engaging diverse audiences Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset toward outreach and promotion Open to learning and applying empathic communication techniques This role offers reasonable compensation of $25 per hour, with additional non-monetary benefits including training, mentorship, and personal development opportunities. The primary focus is on meaningful engagement, community building, and contributing to impactful nonprofit work.
