Job SummaryWe’re seeking an experienced Event Chef to be a part of culinary execution at off-site events—such as weddings, corporate functions, and intimate gatherings. Your focus will be on driving flawless on-site execution, maximizing presentation, adapting to unique venues, and leading the team through setup and breakdown. You won’t be designing menus here—you’re the execution expert who makes dishes shine in real-world settings.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the on-site kitchen team to execute dishes with precision, efficiency, and visual flair.
  • Oversee logistics for load-in/load-out: coordinating equipment, ensuring smooth setup, and maintaining organized work zones.
  • Ensure plating and presentation are consistently elevated, adapting techniques based on venue constraints and layouts.
  • Organize staff assignments effectively and maintain pre-planned timelines for service flow.
  • Be a hands-on leader—provide support, training, real-time adjustments, and clear direction to the team. Stay agile and troubleshoot swiftly—overcome on-site challenges and maintain smooth staffing and timeline execution.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards throughout setup, service, and clean-up.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record as an Event, Catering, or Banquet Chef—especially in high-pressure, on-site execution scenarios. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; able to coordinate team workflow and equipment handling seamlessly.
  • Strong leadership presence—confident, presentable, and ready to manage through service peaks.
  • Skilled in presentation and food artistry, with the ability to adapt execution based on venue setup.Physically capable of long shifts, lifting, and moving equipment (up to ~50 lbs).
  • Food Handler’s License required.
