SUMMARY

Within this role you will be supporting the Account Manager team with the delivery of outstanding events for the business’s clients. The events are generally small 1-day events, but the number of events over the year that you will manage will be high. Therefore, experience working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously is essential. You will also need to be a client focused individual, enthusiastic, somebody who loves a challenge and thrives on working in a busy environment.
This role is office-based near Buntingford, Hertfordshire.
You will be liaising with schools (in the UK and overseas), our photography team and our back-office team, to help ensure that our school photography visits run smoothly, that schools feel they are getting an excellent service, and that our photography and post-production teams feel well supported and clearly briefed.

As the Account Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Liaising directly with existing and new clients via phone and email to ensure clients know what to expect on the day and what they require following our visit
  • Working with the logistics team to ensure the resources are allocated in a way which allows the jobs to be completed successfully whilst maximising our commercial return
  • Briefing the photographers clearly and accurately
  • Making sure post-production team is briefed clearly about any specific requirements the client may have and that they are on track to deliver against deadlines
  • Following up with clients post event and gaining feedback to help learn and improve our services
  • Working with the client to drive efficiency where required to make the visit more profitable
  • Working with the customer service team to field queries from clients and resolve issues with customers
  • Building long term and stable relationships within clients to ensure repeat bookings
  • Assisting other departments during quieter periods

The ideal Account Manager candidate will need:

  • Strong communication skills with a track record of building long lasting working relationships with clients
  • A friendly and engaging personality
  • Strong written communications skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask
  • Pro-active, creative and innovative in their approach to work
  • Experience using Microsoft suite

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 4.5 months
Pay: £12.24-£19.65 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
