This is a remote position. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM PST (1-hour unpaid break from 12 PM to 1 PM) Total Weekly Hours: 35 hours The Event Consultant plays a vital role in helping clients plan and coordinate their party rental needs. This position involves working directly with customers by phone and email to answer questions, create quotes, process orders, and ensure every event runs smoothly. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort using rental software such as IntelliEvent. Responsibilities Answer incoming customer phone calls to assist with inquiries, take orders, and provide rental recommendations. Respond promptly and professionally to client emails. Create and send detailed rental quotes. Enter customer orders, changes, and updates accurately using the company’s rental software. Follow up with clients by phone or email regarding pending quotes or upcoming orders. Process changes or adjustments to existing orders and confirm updates with clients. Coordinate and place sub-rental orders with vendors when needed. Maintain organized digital records of customer communications and order details. Communicate with the operations team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Deliver excellent customer service and uphold the company’s professional, friendly image. Requirements Strong communication skills in English (clear, professional speaking and writing). Confident and comfortable handling customer phone calls. Proficient with computers, email, and online software systems. Previous experience in customer service, sales, or administrative roles. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously. Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote environment. Highly Regarded Experience and Knowledge Prior experience in party rentals, event planning, or hospitality. Familiarity with rental management software (training provided on IntelliEvent).
