Job Description Job Summary: As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the successful planning and execution of various events, from corporate meetings to weddings and large conferences. Your creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail will be vital in ensuring every aspect of an event is meticulously executed. You will collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and translate those into actionable plans. This role requires an individual who is proactive, flexible, and able to work under pressure, as you will often need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Plan and execute a variety of events from inception to completion, including budgeting, logistics, and post-event evaluation. Coordinate with clients to determine event specifics, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment options. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure quality service delivery. Create and maintain project timelines and schedules to ensure smooth event operations. Oversee event set-up, including arranging venues and ensuring audio-visual equipment is operational. Monitor event budgets and expenditures, providing detailed financial reports to stakeholders. Qualifications Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a dynamic environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and vendors. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and situations. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
