Department: Conference Center Sales
Supervisor: Conference Center Analyst

Position Status: Full-time, hourly (40 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: $22.50 / Hour; Based on experience and qualifications
Position Objective:
The Event Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Conference Center Catering Sales and Services staff in the sales, planning, and execution of events, administration, and office coordination. Hours are primarily weekdays with weekends scheduled based on events.
Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable in Caterease or similar catering/ hospitality software preferred
  • Ability to learn and work with multiple systems
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Nonprofit experience desired, but not required.
