EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in event coordination or a related field
  • Strong background in marketing and guest services within hospitality settings
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favourable outcomes for clients
  • Exceptional customer service abilities with a keen attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain order in fast-paced environments
  • Previous experience in restaurants or hotels is preferred
  • Outstanding communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and objectives
  • Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics
  • Coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and guest services
  • Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring all details are handled efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests before, during, and after events
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote events and drive attendance
  • Assist in up-selling additional services or products to enhance client experiences
  • Maintain accurate records of event budgets and expenditures
  • Continuously evaluate event success through feedback and performance metrics
