SKILLS & EXPERIENCE



    • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated event management experience in a similar role

    • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and events software “EventsAIR.” advantageous
    • Exceptional attention to detail and good time management skills
    • Professional communications, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
    • Understanding of the MICE industry
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Working with the project lead, ensure that the event brief and budget are fully understood and logistically sound and to provide proactive solutions when necessary.
    • Establish correct systems and processes from the outset to ensure timely, error-free event management.
    • Maintain accurate files, budgets & critical paths to adhere to deadlines and budgets, especially supplier attrition and cancellation deadlines as per signed contracts.
    • Effectively negotiate and manage hotel, transport and other program components to ensure accuracy and seamlessness.
    • Ensure all delegate data is accurately processed, including travel and accommodation
    • Respond to all client queries professionally and within agreed timeframes, ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Ensure all details of arrangements are confirmed – including transportation, accommodation, conferencing, dinners, tours, team-building and other events requirements.
    • Ensure the service level framework based on the fundamental principle of professional service is always maintained.
    • Build strong relationships with project team members to foster a successful working environment.
    • Available to work onsite (Domestic & International) when project requires
