Description The Event Coordinator will provide internal sales support the Sales Directors, Sales Consultants, and Event Producers to achieve sales goals. Enhance the client relationships and be a brand ambassador for the organization. Essential Functions Support Sales Directors and Sales Consultants to ensure inquires and leads are responded to in an enthusiastic and timely manner, new business is sought out through networking and prospecting, prospects are converted to clients, and clients expectations are met through effective communication, event planning, and service. Support a culture of no client should be a one-time client. Partner with Operations and Service Departments to ensure events are correctly prepared for and executed. Provide recommendations to enhance processes and create efficiencies to Sales Director. Adhere to internal event production paperwork deadlines to include ES packs, tent cards, tastings and event menus and production meetings. Attend weekly production meetings. Ensure accurate and comprehensive files are maintained with proposals and clients. Coordinate event production to include but not limited to: proposal writing, menu development, equipment and logistics, and CaterXpert data management and profitability goals. Attend and work Blue Plate functions as needed. Maintain an exemplary level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive issues. Develop a holistic understanding of the Blue Plate Vision. Effectively interface with client in the absence of Sales Directors, Sales Consultants, and Event Producers. Perform other relevant tasks as required. Job Requirements Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality or related industry. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience within the hospitality industry preferred. Basic knowledge of off-site catering and event operations. General interest in food, menu design, and creative event development. Compensation and Benefits: Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Commission Plan: This role is commission based.
