JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing a variety of events, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and meets the expectations of our clients. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a strong background in event planning and management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to event planning.
  • Outstanding communication skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail in all aspects of event management.
  • Experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred; banquet experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with catering operations within restaurants or hotels is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement event plans from inception to completion, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
  • Coordinate logistics for events including venue selection, catering, transportation, and guest services.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services.
  • Manage budgets for each event, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events through various channels, utilizing event marketing strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction.
  • Oversee on-site event management including setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
  • Upsell additional services or products to clients as appropriate to enhance their event experience.
  • Work closely with catering teams to ensure food and beverage offerings meet client specifications.
  • Assist in fundraising efforts for events when applicable, ensuring goals are met.
