POSITION SUMMARY

Peachtree Catering & Events is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Event Coordinator to join our team in Radnor, Pennsylvania. As a premier catering and event production firm, we specialize in creating memorable experiences for weddings, mitzvahs, corporate meetings, and milestone celebrations.
The Event Coordinator becomes the client’s liaison within our company from point of sale to the day of the event. This role requires efficiency, professionalism, initiative, and the ability to provide exceptional service to our diverse clientele. A minimum of one year of experience in the hospitality industry is required, with a degree in hospitality from an accredited college and direct experience with Event Coordination for catering or weddings preferred.

  • Proficient in basic office tools, including phone systems, computers, scanners, printers, and the internet.
  • Flexible availability, including extended hours, holidays, weekends, and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients after the initial contract is signed, ensuring a seamless event planning experience.
  • Manage all event details, including updating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), planning documents, timelines, floor plans, and menus.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as preparing client bills, emailing documents, and organizing event information for the team.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emails and phone inquiries.
  • Identify upselling opportunities to enhance events and earn commission.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, coordinating logistics as needed.
  • Schedule and conduct venue walk-throughs with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure all event details are communicated and executed effectively.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings to align on upcoming events and initiatives.
  • Source and manage rentals and inventory specific to event needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor service standards to ensure a consistent, high-quality product.
  • Regularly evaluate services and suggest enhancements to elevate event quality.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Master the Reserve Interactive software platform and execute necessary revisions.
  • Oversee billing to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Chef to create sophisticated menus that meet client preferences and reflect current trends.
  • Stay proactive in identifying and resolving potential challenges, providing support to the team as needed.
