EVENT CREW - GOURMET FOOD PARLOUR (SANTRY, DUBLIN)
Gourmet Food Parlour is expanding its catering division and we are seeking friendly, professional Event Crew to join our team in Santry, Dublin. Please note: Applicants must be 23 years or older and hold a full, clean driver’s license to be considered for this position (due to insurance requirements).
Role Overview: As part of our Event Crew, you will deliver high-quality food and catering services to various locations around Leinster, serving corporate clients, elite sports teams, and private events. The role involves both drop-off and buffet services, including the setup, service, and breakdown of events.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 23 years or older (due to insurance requirements).
- Hold a full, clean driver’s license.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or catering environment.
- Experience in food service.
- Fluent in English.
- Flexibility to work across a 40-hour week, including weekends and bank holidays.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- HACCP and Food Safety certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and hardworking attitude.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to think on your feet and solve problems quickly.
- Ability to take initiative and work under minimal supervision.
- Punctual, trustworthy, and professional appearance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lifting and carrying catering equipment to and from venues.
- Setting up buffet equipment and tables onsite.
- Cleaning up and dismantling after events.
- Occasional stair climbing may be required depending on the venue.
