You're energized by the hustle and excitement of catering events. Event Culinary Assistant Expectations: Assist with unloading the vehicle and organizing the kitchen or prep area at the venue. Set up buffet lines, action stations, plating areas, and build appetizer displays according to the event plan and venue guidelines. Plate salads and appetizers for passing with consistency and attention to presentation. Replenish food items on the buffet and ensure stations remain clean, stocked, and organized. Operate live action stations (e.g., carving stations, pasta stations, or dessert bars) and engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner. Work collaboratively with the catering team to serve meals and beverages efficiently. Assist in breaking down and cleaning the kitchen or prep area, ensuring all equipment and surfaces are sanitized. Dispose of waste and trash in accordance with venue policies or company guidelines. Be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
