We are seeking a talented and creative Event Designer to join our team. As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional designs for various projects. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to the success of our company.

The Event Designer provides a variety of administrative support responsibilities, necessary for the design and execution of our special events. A summary of general responsibilities follows:

• Conducts research to find special products and services that may be needed for special events.
• Assists in developing creative concepts for special events.
• Aids in developing written proposals that offer solutions to client’s needs.
• Works with subcontractors to obtain quotations, communicate status, place orders, prepare purchase orders and manage contracts.
• Prepares contracts, purchase orders, production schedules and more.
• Develops floor plans and renderings using various software systems.
• Graphic design of custom elements
• Organizes production documents for easy reference by event team.
• Assists clients by facilitating communication, providing information and servicing their needs.
• Acts as a communications liaison between account managers, clients and production team to professionally execute a production.
• Attends, participates in, and takes notes at internal and external production meetings, necessary for the coordination of events.
• Participates in productions on-site, assisting with the physical set up of décor, food and beverage, and management of production details.

• Experience:

• Proven experience as a Designer or similar role

• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of design principles.
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
• Ability to source resources and work with vendors on ordering, etc.
• Knowledge of marketing strategies and techniques
• Experience in the event industry is a plus (e.g., hospitality, restaurant, hotel)
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
• Budgeting experience is preferred but not required
